| # Job Description Position: Oracle Technology Specialist Location: Hasselt, Leuven, Ghent, Antwerp (Flexible work arrangements with office, home, and client site options) # Role Overview: The client is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Technology Specialist with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate is well-versed in Oracle’s product stack, from hardware and technical systems to database technology and middleware, with strong capabilities in both private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. # Key Responsibilities 1. Oracle Expertise: Stay up-to-date with Oracle’s full product stack, including hardware, database technology, middleware, and application software. You should be familiar with deploying these solutions in private, public, and hybrid cloud settings. 2. Industry Insight: Maintain knowledge of strategic trends, roadmaps, and anticipated developments within Oracle Corporation. Be capable of articulating the main advantages and limitations of most Oracle products. 3. Communication & Collaboration: Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills. You should be proactive, hands-on, and capable of working independently as well as closely with Design Authorities, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Managers, Sales teams, engineers, and other stakeholders. 4. Implementation Experience: Provide a proven track record of involvement in multiple environment implementations, related to a range of Oracle technologies such as EXADATA, EXACC, ZFS, RA23, PCA, OC3, OLVM, ORACLE LINUX, ORACLE DATABASE, MYSQL, OEM, EBS, WEBLOGIC, ODI, GOLDEN GATE, OCI, among others. # Qualifications 1. Education: Master’s degree. 2. Language Skills: Fluent in English (both spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
